Time: 12:45-1:45 rising 1st & 2nd graders

           2:00-3:00 rising 3rd & 4th graders

           3:15-4:15 rising 5th through 7th graders

This 2 week long reading camp welcomes rising first through seventh graders who are eager to strengthen and expand their language arts skills. Campers will be grouped according to grade level, and will meet for daily one-hour sessions. The group will be led by a certified speech-language pathologist. Books will be selected for each group, with experiential learning opportunities embedded to support development of decoding, comprehension, inferencing, perspective-taking, and discourse-based skills. At the conclusion of our time together, all campers will also prepare a presentation for their parents, as they develop confidence with public speaking skills.
